Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour. It is my privilege to advise you of the upcoming Ordination Council at Lake Echo Fellowship Baptist Church (LEFBC), and invite you to participate, in accordance with Fellowship Atlantic's Ordination Procedure document. 

At LEFBC's May business meeting it was moved and passed to seek ordination for chaplain Zac Jackson, in accordance with the completion of his studies at Acadia Divinity School, and as requested by the Canadian Military as part of the two-year internship here with us. The Ordination Council is being called for Thursday, October 26, 2023, commencing at 9:30 a.m.

The Ordination Procedure reads: "All ordained pastors and/or recognized elders of the Fellowship Atlantic Region shall be invited to serve as examiners during the Ordination Council, with no more than two . . . coming from each church." It further says that such pastors and elders who will attend should RSVP the inviting church no later than three weeks before the Council is to be held. If others from your church wish to attend, but not be part of the Council, they are also welcome.

Please advise your intention to attend before October 10th. Chaplain Zac's 4-part ordination statement will be emailed to you at least 2 weeks before the Council date.

A lunch will follow at LEFBC.  

The tentative plan is also being made to hold a special service of celebration and ordination with laying on of hands, dependent upon the positive outcome of the Council, for 4PM on Sunday, October 29, followed by a pot luck supper, also at LEFBC. All are welcome and the Council member who are able to attend will be involved in the laying on of hands upon the candidate.
