Church Planting

The mission of Fellowship Atlantic is helping congregations accomplish the mission Jesus gave His church. When it comes to the ‘HOW’ part, we like to talk about the BIG-3! - Church Health, Church Leadership & Church Planting.

Surveys consistently show that new churches reach new people. Not only is planting new churches a clear biblical priority but it has proven to be the most effective way to spread the gospel geographically. In addition, churches that plant churches experience more growth than those who don’t.

CHURCH PLANT PHILOSOPHY:  Why church plant? What are the biblical principles that shape the intentions and actions of someone or an organization that feels compelled to plant Churches? This is called your philosophy of ministry/church planting. -Review our Philosophy Of Church Planting

3 STEP PROCESS

1. ASSESSMENT

Fellowship Atlantic wants to start the Church planter, his family and the sending Church on a clear path to sustainable and well thought out church planting in our region. Assessment has proven an important first step in doing this.  MORE INFORMATION - CONTACT US

2. COACHING

Church planting is not meant to be a lone-missionary endeavour. Coaching is a safe place to push into Gospel change and mission with others. Is a MUST for both the church planter and the sending church leadership . Coaching is a vital support needed for working out the details of planting, addressing obstacles when planting and ensuring health to leaders who are doing the good work of planting. Coaching allows you to have a place to think through the important details of planting a church that will make an impact in its desired location. Not just anyone will make a helpful coach for church planters. We offer a network of practitioners and practical tools for the first two years of planting/renewal.  MORE INFORMATION - CONTACT US

3. TRAINING

Church Planting is a theological endeavour. We want to train our planters in theological thinking, ecclesiological living and ministry innovation. In this way we would want to equip you to 1. evangelize in meaningful ways in your plant context and 2. make disciples who are making disciples.  MORE INFORMATION - CONTACT US
